Data Deletion Instructions
Effective June 16, 2026. This page explains how to ask American Dream Motors to delete personal information you submitted through our website, Facebook, Instagram, lead forms, phone calls, text messages, or email.
How To Request Deletion
Email [email protected] with the subject line "Data Deletion Request" or call (540) 450-5373.
Please include enough information for us to find your record:
- Your name
- The phone number or email address you used
- The vehicle or form you asked about, if you remember it
- Whether the request came from our website, Facebook, Instagram, text message, phone call, or email
Facebook And Instagram Lead Forms
If you submitted a lead through a Facebook or Instagram form, you can request deletion using the same email or phone number above. Mention "Meta lead form" if possible so we can locate the submission quickly.
What We Delete
When we can verify the request, we will delete or anonymize contact details and lead inquiry records that are no longer needed for business or legal purposes.
Records We May Need To Keep
As a licensed Virginia motor vehicle dealer, we may need to keep some records related to completed purchases, finance applications, lender submissions, legal compliance, tax records, fraud prevention, disputes, or other required business records. If we cannot delete a record for those reasons, we will limit use of the information where practical.
Timing
We try to process deletion requests promptly. Some backups, logs, or third-party systems may take additional time to update.
